- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying

Peel and grate the potatoes. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any excess moisture.

In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Take a handful of the potato mixture and shape it into a patty. Place it in the hot oil and press it down with a spatula to flatten it slightly.
