How To Make Mom’s Kimchi Egg Recipe
Eggs for breakfast. Need we say more? There’s no denying that this ingredient is a staple in most people’s morning diets. There’s a good reason behind it, too. Aside from being protein and nutrient-packed, you don’t need to do much in order to make them taste delicious! Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup kimchi, chopped
- 2 tablespoons kimchi brine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, kimchi, kimchi brine, salt, and black pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until the edges are set.

Gently lift the edges of the omelette and tilt the skillet to allow the uncooked egg to flow to the edges.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the omelette is cooked through but still slightly runny in the center.

Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds on top.

Carefully fold the omelette in half and cook for an additional minute.

Remove from heat and let it rest for a minute before cutting into slices.
