You can make do with a simple sunny-side up, scrambled, or boiled rendition for regular days. There are also several ways of sprucing them up! Ingredients

  • 4 cups of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1/2 cup of rum or bourbon for adults

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

  2. Blend on high speed until well combined and frothy.

  3. Pour the eggnog into glasses and sprinkle with additional nutmeg and cinnamon, if desired.

  4. Optional: For a spiked version, add rum or bourbon to taste.

  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
