Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

  2. Heat the milk until warm and pour it into the dry ingredients. Mix well.

  3. Add the melted butter and beaten egg to the mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.

  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into desired size and form. Place on a greased baking sheet.

  7. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
