Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp malted milk powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp mixed seeds (such as sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, malted milk powder, chopped walnuts, mixed seeds, and instant yeast.

  2. Gradually add warm water and mix until a sticky dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  6. Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in the greased pan.

  7. Cover the pan with a damp cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

  8. Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

  9. Remove the loaf from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
