How To Make Indian Chapati Bread

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water

In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.

Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is smooth and pliable.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin flat round shape using a rolling pin.

Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat.

Place the rolled chapati on the heated skillet and cook for about 30 seconds or until bubbles start to appear.

Flip the chapati and cook for another 30 seconds or until golden brown spots appear.

Remove the chapati from the skillet and place it in a clean cloth to keep it warm.

Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.

Serve the chapati bread hot with your favorite Indian curry or vegetable dish.
