Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpea flour
  • 1 cup spinach, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Water, as needed
  • Ghee or oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, spinach, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

  2. Gradually add water while mixing to form a soft dough. Knead for a few minutes to ensure the ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into chapatis using a rolling pin.

  4. Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Cook each chapati on both sides, applying ghee or oil, until golden brown spots appear.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite curry or yogurt.
