How To Make Tex-Mex Meatball Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc.
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.

Fill each tortilla with meatballs and desired toppings.
