How To Make Shaved Beef Biryani Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shaved beef
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the basmati rice until the water runs clear. Soak it for 30 minutes and drain.

  2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste; sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Add shaved beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.

  4. Add bay leaves, green cardamom pods, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Add rice, salt, and water, bring to a boil, and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes until rice is tender.

  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
