How To Make Cheesy Sausage & Bean Pies

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 8 sausages, casing removed
- 1 can of baked beans
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.

Add sausages and cook until browned, breaking them up into smaller pieces with a spatula.

Stir in the baked beans and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into 4 equal squares.

Place a spoonful of the sausage and bean mixture onto each pastry square. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.

Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape. Press the edges with a fork to seal.

Place the pies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
