Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 8 sausages, casing removed
  • 1 can of baked beans
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.

  3. Add sausages and cook until browned, breaking them up into smaller pieces with a spatula.

  4. Stir in the baked beans and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into 4 equal squares.

  6. Place a spoonful of the sausage and bean mixture onto each pastry square. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.

  7. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape. Press the edges with a fork to seal.

  8. Place the pies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
