Ingredients

  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Toast the bread slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. Rub one side of each toasted bread slice with the clove of garlic.

  5. In a small bowl, combine the diced strawberries, honey, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

  6. Spread a generous layer of goat cheese on the garlic-rubbed side of each bread slice.

  7. Top the goat cheese with the strawberry mixture.

  8. Sprinkle each bruschetta with fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
