Ingredients

  • 200g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 12 quail’s eggs
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil and carefully add the quail’s eggs. Cook for 4 minutes, then transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool.

  2. Peel the quail’s eggs and cut them in half.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the smoked salmon, red onion, capers, and dill.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salmon mixture and gently toss to combine.

  6. Arrange the salad on serving plates and top with the quail’s egg halves.
