How To Make Classic Dinner Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and egg.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough back in the mixing bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
