Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, cilantro, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Shape the mixture into small round or oval cutlets.

  3. Roll each cutlet in bread crumbs, ensuring it is coated evenly.

  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the cutlets until they turn golden brown on both sides.

  5. Remove the cutlets from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel.

  6. Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
