How To Make Gluten-Free Fried Cheese Curds

Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb cheese curds
- Oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vegetable oil.

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375°F (190°C).

Dip each cheese curd into the batter, coating it completely, then carefully drop it into the hot oil. Fry in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.

Fry the cheese curds for 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fried cheese curds from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
