How To Make Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. – Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. – Cut the peeled potatoes into long, thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. – Place the potato strips in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry with a paper towel.

  4. – Toss the potatoes with vegetable oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  5. – Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  7. – Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. – Serve the crispy seasoned French fries with your favorite dipping sauces.
