- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.

In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
-
Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and mix well with the rice mixture.
-
Stuff the bell peppers with the sausage and rice mixture, packing it tightly.
-
Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
-
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
-
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
