How To Make Stuffed Bell Peppers with Ground Sausage Recipe
Delicious and filling stuffed bell peppers with savory ground sausage, veggies, and rice.

Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers, tops sliced off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Add cooked rice, diced tomatoes, parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir well.

Spoon the sausage mixture into each bell pepper.

Place the stuffed bell peppers into a baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese over each pepper and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
