Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on each side, about 6 minutes per side.

  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

  5. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

  6. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

  8. Serve the creamy garlic parmesan chicken over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
