Ingredients

  • 250g halloumi cheese, grated
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated halloumi cheese, minced chipotle pepper, diced red bell pepper, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

  3. Transfer the mixture into the greased loaf pan and spread it out evenly.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the loaf is firm.

  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
