How To Make Chestnut Mushroom, Fennel & Bacon Fusilli

Ingredients
- 300g fusilli pasta
- 200g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
- 1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
- 150g bacon, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the sliced mushrooms and sliced fennel. Cook until softened and slightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for an additional minute.

Return the cooked bacon to the pan and add the cooked fusilli pasta. Stir well to combine.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

Serve the Chestnut Mushroom, Fennel & Bacon Fusilli hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
