  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce cook for another 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  4. Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly before using.

  5. Brush the sauce onto your grilled or smoked meats during the last few minutes of cooking, or use it as a dipping sauce.
