Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook until fragrant.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, and Sriracha sauce. Pour into the saucepan.

  3. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

  4. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue to cook until the sauce thickens.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
