Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
-
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, olive oil, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
-
Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
-
Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
-
Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and juices run clear. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
-
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish.
-
Serve the soy and garlic marinated chicken hot with your choice of sides.
