How To Make Sloppy Joe Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat.

Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the cooked macaroni, followed by half of the ground beef mixture. Repeat the layers.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.

Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
