  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp saffron threads
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

  2. Add the saffron threads to the melted butter and let it infuse for a minute.

  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.

  4. Season with salt and black pepper, and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
