How To Make Thanksgiving Cornbread Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, honey, and egg until well mixed.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Form the dough into 8-10 individual biscuits and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
