How To Make Easter Lamb and Mint Sauce
Tender and juicy lamb served with a fresh and flavorful mint sauce, perfect for your Easter celebration.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg leg of lamb
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/4 cup of mint leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 tsp of honey
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 180°C.

In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Rub the mixture all over the lamb.

Place the lamb in a baking dish and pour chicken broth around it.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and bake for additional 30 minutes.

Let the lamb rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

In a small bowl, mix together chopped mint leaves, plain yogurt, lemon juice, and honey.

Serve the lamb with the mint sauce on the side.
