How To Make Marzipan Filled Easter Bread Recipe
A soft and sweet bread filled with almond marzipan, perfect for Easter morning.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz marzipan

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast

In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm and butter is melted. Add to dry ingredients

Add eggs and stir until mixture forms a dough

Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic

Roll dough into a rectangle and place marzipan in the center

Fold dough over the marzipan and press edges to seal

Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 15-20 minutes

Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown
