  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup almond slices
  • 1 tsp almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add butter and mix until crumbly.

  4. Beat in eggs, milk, almond slices, and almond extract until fully combined to form a dough.

  5. Transfer the dough into the prepared loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Cool before serving.
