  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Pop popcorn according to package instructions.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  3. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.

  4. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.

  6. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and mix until evenly coated.

  7. Spread popcorn out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 250°F for 10-15 minutes.

  8. Allow to cool before serving.
