How To Make Smoked Sausage and Black Eyed Peas Recipe
A hearty and flavorful dish featuring tender black-eyed peas and smoked sausage.

Ingredients
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the black-eyed peas, chicken broth, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the smoked sausage to the skillet and let simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until everything is heated through.
