  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 small butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into crumbles.

  2. Add in the diced butternut squash, onion, and garlic, and stir to combine.

  3. Season with smoked paprika and dried thyme, as well as salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Cover the skillet and let cook until squash is tender, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Serve hot.
