Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork shoulder, boneless
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the pork shoulder, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir to coat the pork evenly.

  2. Cook on low heat for 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

  3. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.

  4. Toast the hamburger buns and place a portion of the shredded pork on each bun. Top with coleslaw and serve.
