Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, grated apple, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Shape mixture into 4 patties.

  3. Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  4. Toast hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. Serve burgers on toasted buns with desired toppings.
