How To Make Apple & Mustard Pork Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • lettuce leaves, for serving
  • sliced red onions, for serving
  • sliced tomatoes, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, grated apple, dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Shape the mixture into four patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute, until lightly browned.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce leaves, sliced red onions, and sliced tomatoes. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. Serve the Apple & Mustard Pork Burgers immediately.
