How To Make Ground Pork Fried Rice Recipe

A delicious and easy-to-make Chinese stir-fried rice dish with ground pork and vegetables.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, peas, corn)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the ground pork and cook until no longer pink, breaking up into small pieces.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Push meat and vegetables to the side of the pan and add beaten eggs to the centre. Cook until set, then mix everything together.
  6. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce and oyster sauce to the pan and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until everything is blended and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
