This pasta is packed with earthy flavors from mushrooms and sage, and topped with a delicious homemade pesto.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. spaghetti
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup sage leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, sauté mushrooms until softened.
  3. In a food processor, blend pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, and sage until smooth.
  4. Toss spaghetti with mushroom and pesto sauce until coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
