How To Make Chanterelle Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tart
A savory tart filled with earthy chanterelle mushrooms and tangy goat cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped chanterelle mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of crumbled goat cheese
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet and prick several times with a fork.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until softened.

Add salt and pepper to mushrooms and stir to combine.

Spread cooked mushrooms over the puff pastry sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space around the edges.

Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese over the mushrooms.

Fold the edges of the puff pastry up and over the mushrooms and goat cheese, pressing down gently to seal.

Brush the beaten egg over the edges of the pastry.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown.
