How To Make Turnip Colcannon

Ingredients
- 2 large turnips, peeled and diced
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 cups kale, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the diced turnips and potatoes. Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

In a separate pot, blanch the chopped kale in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Drain the cooked turnips and potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash them with a potato masher or fork until smooth.

Stir in the butter and milk until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Finally, fold in the blanched kale until evenly distributed.

Serve the Turnip Colcannon hot as a side dish with your favorite main course.
