How To Make Swiss Chard Gratin

Ingredients
- 1 bunch of Swiss chard, stems removed and leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the Swiss chard leaves to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a small saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

In a baking dish, layer half of the Swiss chard, then pour half of the cream mixture over the chard. Repeat with the remaining chard and cream mixture.

Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
