Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard, washed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the Swiss chard to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until wilted.

  4. In a greased baking dish, spread half of the Swiss chard evenly.

  5. Sprinkle half of the Gruyere cheese and Parmesan cheese over the Swiss chard.

  6. Repeat with the remaining Swiss chard and cheeses.

  7. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until simmering. Season with salt and black pepper.

  8. Pour the cream over the Swiss chard and cheese mixture in the baking dish.

  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
