Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of Swiss chard
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Wash the Swiss chard and remove the stems. Chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Add the Swiss chard leaves to the skillet and cook until wilted, approximately 5-7 minutes.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Swiss chard and toss until well combined.

  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted.

  7. Remove from the heat and serve hot.
