Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 2 kohlrabi bulbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the stems from the Swiss chard and chop them into small pieces. Set aside.

  2. Peel the kohlrabi bulbs and cut them into matchstick-sized pieces.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Add the Swiss chard stems and kohlrabi to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, until slightly softened.

  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the Swiss chard and kohlrabi mixture with the lemon sauce.
