How To Make Rhubarb Lemonade

Refreshing and tangy lemonade infused with the sweetness of rhubarb.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice, to serve
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, bring water and rhubarb to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Turn off heat and let mixture cool to room temperature.

  3. Strain the rhubarb mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any solids.

  4. In a pitcher, mix the rhubarb syrup with freshly squeezed lemon juice.

  5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
