How To Make Jicama and Bell Pepper Stir-Fry

This stir-fry is a flavorful and healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium jicama, peeled and julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over high heat.

  2. Add garlic and stir until fragrant.

  3. Add jicama, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.

  4. Add cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. Stir in lime juice and cook for another minute.

  6. Serve hot.
