Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 serrano pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

  2. Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until it reaches your desired consistency.

  3. Stir in the red onion, serrano pepper, garlic, and lime juice. Mix well.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve with tortilla chips.
