Ingredients

  • 4 steak fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or broiler to high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, dried thyme, mustard powder, and salt.

  3. Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the steak fillets.

  4. Grill or broil the steaks for about 6 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness.

  5. While the steaks are cooking, prepare the mustard mayo by whisking together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a small bowl.

  6. Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  7. Serve the sliced steaks with a dollop of mustard mayo on top and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
