  • 1 lb steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan.

  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill the steak until desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  4. While the steak is resting, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the bell pepper and onion until they are soft and slightly caramelized.

  5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.

  6. Slice the sub rolls horizontally and spread the mayo-mustard mixture on both sides.

  7. Layer the sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, and lettuce on the sub rolls.
