  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the diced apples, pears, and cranberries.

  2. Add the honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and water to the saucepan.

  3. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  4. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.

  5. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes until the fruits are tender but still hold their shape.

  6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

  7. Serve the winter fruit compote warm or chilled.
